Reggie Jermaine Rigby was born on April 17, 1972 to Mrs. Eva M. Rigby in Alabama City,He confessed Christ and united with First Baptist church, Alabama City under the Pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. John M. Woods. Reggie was known for his outstanding skills on the basketball court, earning him the nickname of being called “Rockin Ray” by those that knew him. After graduating from Emma Sansom High School, Class of 1990, He obtained a scholarship at Gadsden State Community College and also Athens State University in Athens, AL. Currently; he was employed by Eagle Manufacturing Group Inc., located in Miami, FL. Reggie departed this life on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 10:00p.m. in Miami, FL. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ramon (Cassondra) Rigby. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, a devoted and caring mother, Mrs. Eva M. Rigby, Gadsden,AL.; Two daughters, Alexis Wallace and Shaniyia Rigby, both of Gadsden, AL.; one son, Austin Rigby(Latorria Harrison), Gadsden, AL.; Brothers, James Rigby, Rudy(Paula) Rigby, Ryland Rigby, all of Gadsden, AL., Eugene(Jalaine) Rigby, of Douglasville, GA, Tyrell Pierce, Covington, Tn., Rev. Jimmy A.(Phyllis) Pierce, Marietta, GA., Cassius (Jina) Pierce, Fairfield, CA.; Sisters, Deborah Rigby and Cheri Rigby both of Gadsden, AL., Veronica (Walter) Pierce-Wright of Covington, TN., Sherry Pierce-Simpson of Lithonia, GA and Tracy (Michael) Pierce-Mason of Cordora, TN.; Two Uncles, Robert (Bettie) Pierce and James (Betty) Pierce of Gadsden, AL.; Five aunts, Annie Ruther Hollanquest, Inez Pierce Bonner, Debra (Tony)Pierce- Spears all of Gadsden, AL., Annie Jo (Rufus) Pierce-Bridge of Decatur, GA and Alice (Johnny) Pierce-Simmons of Jonesboro, GA.
